Why I started Yano Stars, in my own words.
My name is Prince.
For years I watched incredible dancers create movements that inspired millions. They entertained us. They started trends. They gave life to Amapiano.
But despite their talent, many were never truly recognised.
I kept asking myself one question. What if there was a platform built specifically for them?
Not just another dance competition. A stage. A community. A movement. A place where dancers could become stars.
That idea became Yano Stars.
Where We Start
One challenge. One winner.
One opportunity.
But our vision reaches far beyond that.
One day Yano Stars will become South Africa's biggest dance competition, a talent platform, a dance academy, and a place where dancers build careers.
Every great movement starts with one step. This is ours.
